I am bored...

I am thinking about cutting myself a fringe. I have a feeling by the time one of you read this it may already be too late to avert the disaster this could turn out to be. I'll let you know.

I think I have to accept that weird medical stuff happens to me and there is no reason for it. If you don't know what i'm on about check the photo for different sized pupils; one huge one tiny. Add that to the puffy face and bad skin tone and it makes one lovely photo.

Ok I just want to complain...

My house is rubbish. The kitchen smells like poo. The bathroom is covered in poo. And the toilet seems to be the only place no one knows how to poo in!

We all know I am not that strict when it comes to cleanliness or tidiness but these people have pushed me to a new level. I am actually thinking about buying some of those hand sanitising wipes for after I wash my hands in the bathroom. I mean I have to touch the tap and the door and really I am pretty sure I am the only one who actually owns soap on this floor.

And I am cold. I am wearing underwear, jeans, socks, a thermal, a hoody and my dressing gown to try stay warm. I can see my breath and it is 4.30 in the afternoon.

Oh also I can smell my flat mate through the wall.

WORD.

Fresh flowers are nice, even if you have to but them for yourself, and especially when they are $4.99. They look especially lovely with all my bills and mail :)

Today I started my guerrilla postal warfare. I am planning a sneak attack on my mailbox. There is mail in there from may 2007. I can never find my mail.

So today it began. I am slowly stealing the old mail and sending it back return to sender. It has to be covert operation though. I don't want people to think I have an old mail fetish.

Feb 24 my day in pictures

I dropped a plate of two minute noodles on my bed. I am not sure if i was upset because it fell on my clean sheets or because it was my last packet of noodles.

Other people always leave their used razors lying about.

There is never any toilet paper.

And I strongly recommend wearing thongs in the shower.

After five days of healing I think it is finally starting to look better... at least the puss has started to dry up :) I hate bunnies and their worms.

These are fresh from my garden! Not such a big crop, but these are the most delicious stawberries and tomatoes I have ever tasted, so that has to count for something! Mmmmm yum!

Am I Nuts?

9am. December 24th. Christmas Eve. What am I doing?


After being given a skydiving adventure for my birthday a few weeks ago, I've been eagly awaiting the day! Now I'm all strapped into my harness and feeling quite nervous and not so sure....


We arrive at the airport. A few butterflies in my stomach! Can't quite believe we are really going to be doing this....


Not REALLY? Right?


Climbing slowly to 14000 feet above the ground! Rising above the clouds, looks just like cottonwool.


Uhhh.....what? Danger?


I'm second out of the plane! Trying to remember the instructions. Arms crossed? Check. Knees under? Check. Oh no I'm sure there was three things! Ohhhh......

GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


As the parachute opens, I finally get a chance to take in the view. The ground is getting closer and I can make out some details. The city and the ocean. The landing position. We swoop towards the earth!


Perfect landing. I never thought I would do something like this but I feel so brave! I feel great!


What an amazing adventure! We shouldn't be so scared of facing things we cannot do, we should just go ahead and do it! Often we don't know what we are missing out on! I can't wait to go again :)
